I did some searching on here but did not find exactly what I was looking for. I am pulling a code from my converters. I want to empty the 3rd cat but no one carries the gaskets for it that I can find. Does anyone know of a gasket that will fit it, or where can I buy a pre made pipe to replace the cat? I saw a post mentioning one for $130 but it did not say where to get it from. Also could installing aftermarket mufflers have made it pull this code (I cannot imagine that but you never know). Thanks..

The gasket is the same one as the probe GT uses. What I did is ordered a flex pipe from JC Whitney and then took the old cat and cut off the flanges. Then had them welded to the flex pipe. I would try and get a 100% stainless flex pipe if you could find one. Most autoparts stores will have something.

Don't throw away the cat. It's worth some bucks as scrap.

Good ideaon cutting the ends and using them to put it back together with. I had not thought about that. I was thinking of just gutting it but that would make for better flow. I may measure and see if I can just buy a normal piece of exhaust I can put on and use a U clamp to hold it together. And now I know what gaskets to get. Thanks guys..

We offer a Cat-Delete pipe that's a bolt-in unit. $129, plus a little shipping. I make them to order. The pipe bolts directly to the back of the y-pipe assembly and connects to the remainder of the exhaust system just in front of the factory resonator. We also have the y-pipes in stainless. We have six in stock and ready to go.
