Depends, do you have a piece fabbed up already? Are you adding a ****** to the other side? Are you removing the ****** from the front and welding in a new piece on both ends?

Call them. Everytime I have called them, they have either answered or called me back within 30 minutes.

I have one or two left here with me now. I had made several in the past and just slapped one on my '99. New pipe, new flex pipe, new gasket, new ****** and the hardware. I've been awaiting my new batch of flex pipes to create some more too.

This is what I did. Drop the cat down at the flex pipe, unhook the hangers so you can see into the cat. Get a good drill and a wood boring bit and you can gut it without removing it. Reach in and pull out the larger pieces and use a shop-vac to vacuum out the rest.

If you gut it, I'm told there is enough platinum in there to make it worthwhile to take to the recyclers, FWIW.
Never tried to myself.

I have heard that as well, I also heard that the coating of platinum is so fine that it really isn't worth the time to take it to a recycle center. Regardless of all that, when I gutted mine, the ceramic block of inside material was absolutely destroyed all but a couple of peices. Be sure to wear a dust mask when doing this. Safety First!!!
