3 timing belts ?

I caled my local ford dealership to price a water pump, timing belt, cps, and crank seal on the 93 MTX I bought...

Anywho, the parts attendant tells me there is 3 timing belts ????
1 front and 2 rear ?

On the off chance that I am a *******, I went to Shonut and checked over parts and didnt see anything about 3 timing belts.
Anyone have a clue as to what the **** he is talking about ?

Anything else on the bottom end I should have done while doing the belt/pump...tensioners maybe or any other sensors ? I really dont have a clue, this is the first time I have been involved in doing one of these.

Also, I have what appears to be a shock absorber on the front of the engine leaking oil, Is this the engine dampener ? and if so where can I get another for cheap ???

Sorry for all the idiotic questions, but the lead tech where I work is gonna tacle this one and wanted these questions answered before he starts.

1 Timing belt, 2 timing chains.

The belt connects the two intake cams to the crank and the chains connect the two exhaust cams to the two intake cams.

The belt is a wear item, while the chains should last the life of the car.

OK, I thought so, just wanted to be safe..

Anything else I should replace outside of the things I mentioned ?

That dampener / torque limiter is discontinued. Find it used, or go with solids from SHO Shop, etc.; Also, if the strut's blown, usually the front engine mount will be too.

Perhaps investigate an aftermarket company & let the rest of us know what you find!
