Is it worth having for everyday use? What are the benefits and incentives you'll receive.
You can push more boost if you are tuned. With the stock 2 bar sensor it will only detect up to 2 bar absolute pressure (so 14.5 psi boost) and that will limit how much boost it can read. Swap it out and it will be able to read up to 3 bar absolute pressure (29 psi boost) so a tuner can have the car push more boost.

By itself it doesn't really do anything to my knowledge. Really, at a minimum you have to have a tuner or someone adjust for the swap so the computer properly reads the new range. If you do end up getting a tuner and 3 bar sensor I recommend buying the sensor from RockAuto or Amazon (vs various performance shops). On RockAuto I think they're $40 (Motorcraft CX2231) while the speed shops are $70+.

I use my SHO as DD and would suggest adding the 3bar MAP to what you currently have.

Seeing that you already have a tune for it, you are (in a sense) restricting your car.

A 3bar will let it produce more peak boost and also allow it to be more consistent.

Make sure you got the 3bar sensor. I will have to do some searching but when looking to purchase mine I found out that CX2231 is the form factor (or some such BS) and the actual part number is AA5Z-9F479-B for 3bar and AA5Z-9F479-A for 2bar.
