How hard is it to replace the MM on the 3L??
Is this something that can easly be done be myslef?
And where can find some directions to do it? I looked in my haynes book (maybe it's a chilton or something) and it doesn't really say much about it.
This is what my dad just said, so I don't know really. he has the car and the book.
Thanx for any help or info

Well my dad says just the front of the motor is lifting up and lifts up about 4 inchs he says. I'm sure he's over stating it some.
But I would like to do both. instead of having one brand new one and one old ass one. And plus i'm leaning towards the shobros Xtremreinforced ones. For $20 more than the regular reinforced ones, why not get the Xtream ones.

Goofsho, thanx for the link. I got a rally good idea on how to do it now, with out even looking at the car. But it was only for the front mount. I assume the rear will come out using the saem methond as long as nothigns in the way of it.

Im assuming you did the motor mount test? Put e-brake on, and put car into first. Slowly let clutch out, if motor lifts its the front. Do the same in reverse.. if the back lifts, its the front...

But if it were me, i would replace both.... with one extreme mount the other will have a hard time trying to "keep up".

more rubber, more HP.....
Consider putting solid, welded mounts in.

You will love the gutsy new sound of your SHO as you drive it on the boulevard. It will be so loud , you will never have to hear your significant other whining/biotching/moaning inside your car again. It will make for peaceful, harmonious drives and do wonders for your romantic relationship!!! :)
