First IAC , I s there is a differance between the two, which design should I use or does it make any differance? Next do I need to use the spacer? the throttle body will be bypassed ( for heat that is) so should I still run coolant to the spacer or can I get rid of it all together.... The 3.0 unit is still bolted to manifold in this pic.

I running a 3.2 intake with egr blocked and a 3.0 harness /computer/ 3.2 injectors on a 3.0 bored to 3.2

IMHO the IAC from the 3.2 is more desirable since they seem to respond to cleaning better than the 3.0 units. i.e., if it gets boogered up a 3.2 unit can be saved with some cleaning fluid, a 3.0, not so much.

And, yes, they're interchangeable.

i think it would be a good idea to leave the hoses going to the iac spacer intact until the car is running and you can do some tuning stuff. then take it off to see if it does anything.

You can ditch the spacer alltogether. However, there is a small port that is machined into the spacer for the "PCV" line from the Valve cover. All you really need to do, if you plan on keeping this line connected there, is grab a dremel and put a notch in the plenum down to the port for the IAC. There is a small hole(port-about 1/8'' dia) there that is fed from the ****** on the side of the intake next to the throttle body. That is the port for the VC tube.

Or you could ditch it alltogether, and not have to worry about it.

Oh, yep that is correct. I forgot about that line, as I ditched mine. However, I don't think that he is running a charcoal canister.

Charcoal belongs in your grill with big fleshy meat on a grate above it.
