Ok guys i am building my 3.0 and wanted some input on what to do with it. I am a novice at this so any info would help. Can you make any noticeable gains with a bigger bore, and if so how much? Which are better pistons, ross or weisco? Should i P&P my heads? and any imput on cams, stock, stg 1, or 2. Keep in mind that my car is a daily driver. Sould i look into getting custom bolts made or use the stock ones? I would like to make around 300hp N/A

get some high compression pistons from Josh and add some bolt ons. 300 whp would be easily attainable with them.

I have a 3.3 (I'm guessing, because my engine was bored and I have larger pistons), stage 2 cams, and my heads were p'n'ped. The gains were really noticable. The bore seemed to give me more low end torque, while the cams, while lopey at idle, gave me a much stronger top end. I had my heads p'n'ped, but I can't tell you what I gained from it. Overall, my engine is much stronger than it was. Feels like a 50hp gain, and seems comparable to a Mustang GT in speed and feel.

displacement= bore AND stroke
