Just as the title says. We got some slick conditions up here now, and the problem I am having, is that at around 2k in any gear, especally in 1, 2 and 3rd gears. If I keep a low throttle, to keep it around 2k, so not as to slip and slide everywhere, the car will just buck to no end. Normally I am good at guessing these things, but on this one I am tottally and completely lost. Any guesses guys ?

If it is always at the same rpm and light load, it may be a dead spot in the throttle position sensor. Does the bucking stop if you move the throttle a little either up or down?

Bucking sounds worse than a simple misfire. You are talking about an engine on/off type of action aren't you? A failed crankshaft position sensor would take the engine out at any rpm and not just buck.

Yah, it is always at about 2k in 1st-3rd. If I press on the gas it will buck to get going, then it will be fine. If I let off the gas, it will buck and be fine. Only when I decide that I want to keep it at a steady throttle. Kinda annoying when it is slick out and you wanna keep low RPMs so when you hit the gas you dont go vearing off to the right.
And yes, it is not a misfire, or the CPS. I was thinking something in the transmission, but if it were something there, it would happen at more than just a certain RPM. Wouldnt it ?
