My 245/45/17 inch bf goodrich tires got replaced by kumho supra 712's of the same size and unfortanatly they seem to be a little bigger than the bfs. They are just barely missing the strut tube and I have to shave off MORE of the fender wells so that it won't rub in hard cornering. Just wanted to let you guys know in case your thinking of getting that size tire. The good news is that they seem to grip like crazy. I couldn't even get a chirp from them flooring it at 3k in first. With my old tires they would start spinning.

What offset are you running on your wheels?
I would like to run 245, but I am probably going to get 235 since I have 35mm offset on my Momo's.

I have 245/45-17 Dunlops on 8.0" wide 40mm offset rims with Koni's and Eibach with no sheet metal problems at all. Now the rear tires are very close to the rear strut tube and I may have to make a set of spacers out of old rear disc brake rotors, but the fender will still not need to be trimmed. The Gen II's have a lot more room in the rear fender wells than the Gen I's.
