Boo hoo . Just got this great SHO and the dealer has determined a mount needs replacing . It's under warranty but I'm surprised by this not having seen this issue online . There's no miles to speak of on it so I can't believe the original owner could have done anything to it .

I had it checked by the dealership and they certified it . No accident report on it either pretty sure it's OK but I thought about that .

Don’t ever rely on dealer for something like this. Get an independent inspection with vehicle up on lift and look for overspray. Accident reports are only reported by those who report them. FYI, a certified vehicle can be sold if it was in an accident too. I will never buy a “certified” vehicle again. Very likely just a bad part, but I don’t trust anyone; especially a stealership

I hear you. I have in writing from the dealership's management that the car was never in an accident . Not that this is proof it wasn't or replaces an independent check such as you are advocating but at least that bought me a lawsuit if subsequently it's determined it had been.

This, I do tend to be off lease certified cars for the extra warranty but don't expect that a car being certified means anything else.
