I pulled the back seat to evaluate how much work it's going to be when I upgrade my fuel pump, and it looks pretty easy, except... I see what looks like a fuel pump port on both sides. Which one is it? What's in the other one? Or are there two?

I just looked and put it back in, I didn't do a deep dive.

The actual pump we upgrade is passenger side. The driver module is just a saddle pump to circulate fuel

During my fuel pump troubleshooting saga I found that the driver's side is not even a pump, its just a fuel level sensor and a fuel pick up fixture. The one on the passenger side is the sender pump (can be upgraded) and then you also have the high pressure fuel pump located on top of the engine, which can also be upgraded.
Some people (including a mechanic) told me there where 3 pumps but after much researching I was never able to find the third one (driver's side). All images of this part don't show an actual pump and it only has one plug on top which is for the fuel level sensor. I once unplugged it and my fuel level gauge dropped by half, that's it.
