Cool find. :thumb:

Can't really hold much of an opinion as that single shot doesn't provide enough glimpse of anything to render one.

Hard to believe I'll have owned mine for 5yrs now. :tumbleweed:

Time's flown and I still love my SHO today, as much as I did the day she arrived at the Dealer and I set eyes on her. :dribble:

Hope Ford performs an equally bang up job on the 2016's! :omgsho:

Doesn't look much different on the outside from now, so it won't be a drastic departure style wise. If they ARE lightening it, they may be doing it for gas mileage reasons, but the performance-minded won't gripe about it either :) Wonder if the 3.5TT would fit inside? More importantly, beefed up AWD?

I had heard, no idea how true it is but, that the 3.5 might be dropped from the Taurus (SHO) line in favor of the hot Turbo 4 for fuel reasons and to favor making the Taurus smaller as it has gotten quite large.

Still early for opinion but I hope that some of the touch screen items get moved back to switches.

Couldn't agree more. That is the only thing I dislike about my SHO.

The new '15 F-150 is awesome inside. The only thing I can't figure out is if there is an actual button for the heated steering wheel. I see it on the MFT screen, but you would think they would put the button down by the seat climate buttons.

many of the slider bars are being changed back to knobs - that is already underway in new Navigators, MKCs, Expeditions, etc.

also, by 2016 they plan to implement the new generation of SYNC, which will not be Microsoft but rather Blackberry - which is the vendor for systems already in competitive vehicles such as Audi, according to my sources.

You say you've owned your sho for 5 years now. Have you had any issues out side of normal wear and tear? I expect a twin turbootor to require much maintenance than a regular motor. Any tips on keeping things running good and strong from someone that has owned a sho would be real world and much appreciated.

I did experience the infamous oil leak from the supply & return lines on both turbos (when they were OEM).

Other than that, been very pleased.

I would say having performed routine maintenance ahead of schedule, as well as having outfitted my Non-PP Equipped 2010 w/ all the auxiliary coolers, has helped tremendously.

i wouldn't hold my breath on a new sho. since '10 sales have dramatically declined. all points to a little larger than a fusion w/ 2.7 eco in it if it happens. from my point of view hope that's what happens to make our gen more unique, last one w/ 3.5L. making too many trucks & explorers that need that engine. if they where going to put it more in their line would have put in pony.

looks pretty much exactly like the current model. Sure that's not an old picture of a camouflaged pre-production 2013?

Well the new Explorer has been announced and shown.
Still no new Taurus. It's not looking good, I hope Ford isn't canceling the Taurus again.
Fingers crossed that the new Ford Performance group has their hands on it!

man o man do you have a rare one. have not even seen a regular cinnamon taurus much less a sho! not sure what's up with the taurus everything quiet. if they do a sho would probably be a 2.7 anyway. we have an instant collector. of course will take years to recoup $$.

The SHO was always a niche market to begin with, plus FORD never really marketed the car like they should of. Guess time will tell, but doesn't look good for sure. Curious on the production numbers of the '13-15 SHO's.
