Hey guys, Its been a awhile since i posted.. Recently sold my 95 sho and bought me a 2014.
Decide to take it out to the Friday night TNT at the local drag strip here.
First run out ran a 14.13 at 100.23 mph. This was in drive Traction control off ,stalled to about 2k.
I was pretty impressed, it was about 78 degrees out was hoping a the night got cooler might see a 13 second run.. Never happened..
Next run 45 mins later.. Put the car in sport mode.. traction control off.. ran a 16.02 at 87.83mph.. car felt like a dog. thought maybe it had something to with the sport mode..
So i went back 25 mins later , did the same set up as the first run... ran a 15.85 at 93.65.. WTF?? Car has no bottom end pull.. 60ft time is at a 2.6.. Checked cant hear any boost leaks.. Its like the turbo just lags unit it hits 4-5k rpms.. Ran it a few more times all mid 15 second runs.. then last last run was a 16.94 at 85.23.. ****** off because i was getting beat by Honda civics i left..
Car is still missing it low end power.. Going to take it to the dealer this week to see what they say.. Not going to tell them i was out drag racing it.. Car has 26k miles.. Airaid CAI.. Just wondering if you guys might know what my problem might be?

These cars are very temp sensitive. When I take my car to the strip, I just turn off the traction control, and leave the car in D, never used the paddle shifters. Always launched the car at 2K. Depending on track conditions my 60's are 2.000 to high 1.8's. I lower tires down to 25 psi too. Hope this helps

Where you using the paddles or letting the transmission shift in Sport mode?

I'm guessing one of the turbo's has a boost leak, can you feel the car surge at all under a steady acceleration?

Double check all the hoses under the hood & cover. One or more may be loose or have popped off completely.
