Was at the dyno the other day and I was very surprised at these numbers. Only things that done to it is motorcraft spark plugs and catback exhaust. It was running on Shell 93 fuel. Must be a factory freak.

Welcome to SHOforum! Great numbers, but sounds more like a tune is installed. Did you buy it CPO or something (not brand new)?

It was a CPO with 19k miles. Owner of the dealership was using it. When I get a tune from the shop they will let me know if it actually does have a tune on it

I see they are running a Mustang dyno? Typically they can run 10-15% lower than a Dynojet, so these numbers are even more impressive if truly bone stock. I know LME uses a Dynojet, most people that want "real" SAE numbers will swear by Dynojets.

Yes it's a Mustang dyno. Guy said that it gives the most accurate numbers. He said that lot of people get upset because they don't like the numbers they see. Also he was really impressed because the shop was full of subis that weren't even putting 300whp after mods. I will keep the thread updated once I figured out if it was stock or not.

Stock dyno #'s typically range in the 277 to 283 awhp.

I've not once seen a stock one throw down over 300 at the wheels.

It likely has had some sort of something done to it, to get it where it's currently showing.

Regardless, still cool. :thumb:

Yeah definitely good starting numbers. Waiting for the shipment to come in so I can take it back. Installing a CAI, 3bar, 170 stat and down pipes. Will have them dyno tune it once everything is installed.

I made 344 awhp and 375 awtq on a Mustang dyno and I had exhaust with a 3 bar tune and some other smaller things. I agree that something has to be done to it. It'd have to be making at least 14 psi, probably more to make those kind of numbers (as compared to 11.5-12 stock). I made my power numbers running 16.5 psi

Check what the boost is running, my guess is higher than stock.

Well I'm doing a dyno tune next week. I'll see if they can check before getting the tune done
