2013 PP missing button for advance Trac???

Hello all, I'm in need of some help. I tried to search but couldn't find the info I'm looking for. I just purchased a 2013 SHO PP. It does not have a button to turn off advance Trac... It's not that the button is missing or broken it just appears to be a blank. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

Some cars in production have indeed had a missing button. IDK what the process would be for replacement, now that the car is out of normal B2B warranty. Talk your dealer/Ford directly.

Please post a pic or two showing in detail how the buttons look on your SHO.

I thought I was the only one. Also a '13 with blank button here. Dealer was useless in my case for assistance. You will need to either find a new part or modify like I did.

On the PP models it has to be the physical button, to allow for the different mode settings, Non-PP cars will have the option through the left side steering column digital settings.

I have a 16 pp I was just checking surprised you did not have either. Which just made me think I wonder if there is away to turn your dash option on using FORScan which then leads to if there is a way to have advance track already off on car start.

Can't seem to find it online but should just need to call your Ford parts supply and ask for traction control button part number. Doubt there is anything else.

Yes, I'm certain it's a PP. I've got the window sticker, it has the correct steering wheel, kit instead of spare, etc...

I only ask because we have pretty much the same car. The dealership told me I had the PP, not that I even cared, and I later found out that I did not.

(And just to be clear, I bought the car used.)

My '12 is the same - the button for defeat is missing but I can press and hold the T/C button higher up on the dash to completely disable. My car is definitely a PP. There was one other case like this in the forum archives as well. It's weird.

So in 2016 you couldn't get automated parking (technology pack?) and a performance pack. Is this the same for previous medels?

The claim was one of the coolers interfered with the sensors needed on the radar system. But they were able to pull it off in 2013, and then somehow lost their ability (lol).
