I pick up my new to me Sho this Friday and I want to hit around 500 engine hp. I'm thinking of the upgraded turbos and intake with down pipes and a tune what kind of HP are there making with these parts?

On pump gas you can easily get to 450WHP with those mods. I can set you up with a package for the turbos, downpipes and tuner/tune. I would also suggest a meth kit as well to help support the additional power.

This sounds to good to true! What if you have already have the following upgrades: AIRRAID cold air, Steelworks downpipes would you be able to still get that kind of HP of the car?

Realistically, you need at least:
Tune
Downpipes
Methanol Injection Kit OR Stage 2 Turbo Kit
Lower Temp TStat
Properly gapped spark plugs

to get a sustained, DD type, streetable 400 AWHP (about 500 hp at the crank). If you have meth AND turbos, another 50-60 AWHP. Add a freeflowing exhaust with cutouts, another 20 awhp easypeasy.

Can you go beyond that? Yes, for sure. 700 crank hp is the rumored factory limit for an unmodified 3.5EB engine. How usable is it, and how much do you have to invest? You will need suspension upgrades in addition to engine upgrades at the very least. Coilovers, traction bars, etc might be in your SHO's future.

Is your SHO PP-equipped? Then you will have a cooler and temp monitor for the PTU (yay!). Plan on a regular PTU & trans fluid change routine to keep the grin on your face from fading.

Could you elaborate on "Is your SHO PP-equipped? Then you will have a cooler and temp monitor for the PTU (yay!). Plan on a regular PTU & trans fluid change routine to keep the grin on your face from fading" Thank you!

Which part? The PP (performance package) or the periodic fluid changes (heat causes oil to break down, more heat will cause it to break down quicker)?

Tune + 3 bar MAP + TStat would get you pretty close to 500 CRANK HP, definitely at least 450-460. Then you could do the entire intake/exhaust (CAI, downpipes, catback) or methanol injection to get you to or past the 500 mark.

Sure thing Jean!

To go full bolt on you are looking at around $3500 to your door. That would put you around 500hp. Now, if you want to be at 500whp...that is a different animal all together. That would require methanol and a turbo upgrade kit. Still very attainable, but it is not as easily done.

I have a 2013 pp with catless dps. I'm looking into doing intake, tune, tstat, gapped plugs, 3 bar, and a methonal kit. I'm wondering what this would cost and around what range awhp I'd be in?

If you want us to install everything for you, there is a definite lead time as we have about 60 cars in the shop right now. There are about 30 cars waiting for tuning ATM. I would need your contact info so that I can have my installation specialist, Steve get in touch with you.

Well I was really just looking for an estimate on how much a shop would charge. I know all shops are different but I was hoping to get a rough estimate. Also if I was to do them things plus the atp turbo upgrades would the engine and tranny be safe With out further upgrades to them?

For any kind of installation estimates you would have to talk to Steve.

Even the WR holder is daily driving his car on the factory trans. Nobody has an aftermarket upgrade to for the trans.
