2013 MOD and Tune Install Complete (Initial feedback in thread)

Just got the car back from install and dyno. We did 93 Tune, 3 Bar Map, Windstorm CAI, Thunderstorm DP, and Corsa Cat Back along with plugs and 160 Therm. We also did H&R springs. First thing I want to say is I love the sound of the car now. It will definitely take some getting used to but the car sounds like what it should. At idle you can finally tell it isn't JUST a grocery getter and at half throttle you can definitely hear the difference. It is not a quiet cruiser any more but it also isn't obnoxious. I am a bit underwhelmed at the initial horespower gains over the stock runs. I have to call the Dyno shop and get some specifics as I was not there when it was up on the machine.

The H&R springs make the car. It looks awesome and on the 11 mile drive back to work it felt great on the highway. No bounce and had it up to 100 on an uneven road with no real issues. I am sure I will have more input after this weekend as I intend to take her through her paces.

Has anyone seen HP gains after the car and tun kind of "breaking in" period? Just curious.

Thanks for the full report and I could tell from you other thread you had loss the excitement after you got her back. You have to remember, it's not a GT500, but you are making right at 450bhp using a drivetrain loss of 24%... Not bad with just bolt ons... And that's about all everyone will make with those mods. You could add a meth kit for about 60 more break horse power.

So your doing good and I think if you raced another similar style car, you'll be able to see just how fast your modded SHO real is!

Wait... Am I reading this right, your car made 320 hp at the wheels stock? Doesn't that translate to about 380+ at the crank or more?

Have you gotten a wheel alignment yet after the H&R? They could only get my front wheels aligned but apparently our SHOs don't allow much adjustments to the rear so I have about -2.1 camber!!! There's a post on a ecoboost forum about this issue but what he did was actually incorrect and won't work in the long run. So I'm at a loss!

I ran into this same alignment issue myself. Thus why I came up with a solution to same.

How is that echoboost writeup incorrect?

I just completed mine last week and didn't have any issues... Please explain.

On that dyno sheet am I reading the boost at the bottom correctly? It say 13.9psi for the max baseline ...stock is 11.5-12 or was it just a spike

Can you post a video of an exhaust clip? Or send a link to Youtube - I'd love to hear it. I want to put an exhaust on my SHO.
