2012 SHO Spotted!

Just saw complete 2012. Our prayers have been answered, Honeycomb grille(upper and lower), better brakes, any mytouch. I asked the engineer that was hovering around it about the brakes, he said they have been "revised". Whatever that means. No additional power as of now. But anything and everything could change between now and build date. FYI, the grille is perfect and a SHO exclusive! No pics guys, job security.

Wow! Thanks for that GREAT news Taurusbuilder! I would really like the myford touch however I won't trade my '11 to get just that. I'm most interested in the new grille. Did it look like we could fit it on a 2011 model or has the shape changed? I would love to be able to order this grille for my 2011.......

My Touch is really cool. I'm dying to see what the new dash looks like. Problem is, you need to take a class to learn My Touch! As with everything though, once you know it...

Thanks for the insider spotting report. Could you perhaps ask/wander around to where they install grilles and get a line on a supplier name or upcoming part number ?
( at least when the PI version is more prevalent in the plant)
We Motown folks in the business usually know someone who knows someone at most of the major suppliers. Confirmation of which one, potentially could go a long way.

Ordering date is less than a month away and reading this just confirmed my decision not to buy a 011 and wait and take delivery of a 2012, as I really want the My Touch screen.

My guess based on when production starts is I will have one in my garage in 6 months. My intention is to order one on day 1.

I can try and ask the current vendor
