On the right front side I hear a knocking not too harsh but it occurs at lower speeds to 40 going over small waves or bumps in the road, the sway bar and links have been replaced has anyone else had this issue if so what was the cause its driving me nuts!

Just the noise, or does the SHO have steering issues as well? Does it track straight on even roads? Are the tires evenly worn? Any such noise when you brake? You could check the control arm to make sure the bushing isn't worn or the bolts are not loose. Same for subframe/cradle bushings & bolts. If there is uneven wear, the tie rod link may be going bad, a known problem.

Or maybe you left a tool in the engine bay :)

The tires aren't worn that even and it seems to pull to the right slightly nothing big it doesn't make it tuning or braking just driving straight over bumps or waves in the road...when I pull the tie rods they seem tight, it sounds like something is lose and knocking or is about to break...maybe tie rod end? Would it make that noise its not very loud but its loud enough that my wife said what's that noise when we were going over bumps and she was passenger

I suppose a tie rod could make a low level noise (clack/clunk). Here's a video that gives you a rundown on diagnosing it:

Hey Big Mike. Check your right front strut. Mine made a similar noise under similar conditions from the left front. Had it looked at three times, no on could find a problem. When I was at the tire store last year I went out and looked at it myself while it was on the rack. I immediately noticed that the LF strut was leaking. Replaced all four struts and haven't heard the noise since. Can't believe no one else could figure that out!

By the way, my car had made the noise from the first day I bought it with 57K on it. Replaced the struts at 85K plus new 4) new tires. I replaced the struts with OE replacement Monroe SensaTracks, cost me ~$750 installed at the local Belle Tire.

Good luck with yours!

I just had my 14 serviced for a similar issue. The dealer replaced both wheel bearings, swaybar links, struts and tierods. The car only has 23k on it so I was quite surprised that all of this needed replaced in such a short time. The SHO is my first domestic car in 22 years so I hope this was just a fluke of a batch of bad parts...

Congratulations Big Mike, sounds like you did it yourself too, nice work. Too bad you had to rebuild the front end first! I was glad to help, too bad we didn't meet up sooner, I know mine drove me nuts until I spotted that strut. I hope the rest of your ownership experience is awesome. Take care.

I doubt very much all those parts were actually bad, especially with 23K miles. Apparently your dealer is either extremely thorough or drumming up warranty work.
