Went out to drive the SHO Monday night and the key fob wouldn't unlock the doors or open the trunk for that matter. Anyway, I thought the battery is probably dead. Popped the fob open exposing the key, unlocked the door which disarmed the factory alarm, started the car and drove home. Went yesterday and got a fresh pack of CR2032 batteries and installed them into the two fobs. Nothing. No unlock and disarm yet I can unlock the car and drive it without the warning of "no remote detected"... Any ideas before I take it to the dealer?

Well. I got home today and it's my wife's car and she drove it today so at least one remote works. I read the owners manual and it says you need to have two working IK's in the car to program a remote so I'm sol looks like.

You need two working FOBs to program them yourself, but a well-equipped locksmith or dealer should be able to reprogram the non-programmed FOB assuming the FOB itself is not bad.

Did you ask your wife if she's had any problems with locking or unlocking the car with her FOB? If not, and you are handy with a solder iron, you might want to open up the FOB and carefully inspect the board for any cracked solder joints, particularly at the battery contact.

We bought the car used but it was super low miles and driven by an executive so everything including the keys are like new. That said, this morning all the sudden now my remote works. Only the third remote doesn't work at this point. Now with two working remotes I can program that one though.

Yes you can now program the third. Personally, I would disconnect the battery for 20 minutes then hook it back up. I had a "no fob detected" issue and that worked in re-booting the car. Can't hurt to try it.
