Hello, Please locate to a different section if need be, I just picked up a 2010 SHO with 99K miles and im trying to source either parts or a cheap engine. I have a Hefty Bottom end rod Knock and literally the cheapest motor I've seen is around $2,000 with about 160K miles. I don't want to sink more than 3k into this thing with it being My third vehicle. I already have a 2013 SHO PP and a 2019 Scat pack Charger.

Is there any alternatives knowing at least 1200-1500 in labor cost. For example maybe a rebuild kit or swapping things over from the N/A 3.5 (LOL)

HELP!!

I don't know how you pull that off. I wish you luck. I assume you've checked the online used parts salvage search engines and ebay?

Look for 2013+. With a few parts swapped over, it will work in your 2010.

Taurus, Explorer, Flex, MKS and MKT all use the same engine with a few minor differences that can be overcome easily.
