JUNE 6,7,AND 8TH 2008 CARLISLE ALL FORD NATIONALS

(just getting thread started for Terri her computer is down )

Okay folks, striking while the iron is hot!

Based upon the awesome turnout at Kildare's - I'd like to get "the list" started for Carlisle in the hopes that we can meet or beat the 25 car requirement to get a free tent.
(This year beat last year by a mile - I believe we had 17 cars and 28 people by Mike's last count!)

Never fear, oh loyal SHO brethern, there will be a tent either way... it would just be nice for Carlisle Productions to pick up the tab instead of us this year!!! Chime in if you're going to be there...

***PLEASE use Liberty SHO Club when you register so that we are properly counted!***
I am starting a separate thread where you can input your registration number in case we have to argue with the event staff over our numbers. Also keep in mind that if you bring your "alter-ego" you can still register it under Liberty SHO Club to help us make our count.

Additionally, if you're thinking that you'll be attending but you aren't interested in SHOwing your car, you will be paying for an admission (or two) as well as paying to park in someone's yard. Why not join us in the preferred parking on the SHOwfield for $40 which includes two admissions for the whole weekend???

Rather than researching what's out there, I'll just say that a gang of us are already reserving at the Mechanicsburg, PA Comfort Inn where we were last year and many prior years. It's about 9 miles from the fairgrounds but all of the "big" places to eat are out that way anyhow.

I may swing the Cougar way and bring my 68 and / or my 89 super-charged.
Or I may bring one or two SHO's.
Or I may bring a Cougar and a SHO.

I plan on attending again this year. Can't miss it since its the only time of the year I can see more than two SHOs at the same time in the same place. Needless to say, down here in VA is not exactly a hotbed of SHO activity!

Really looking forward to letting my hair down at Carlisle this year. What a great weekend, if for nothing else than to completely remove yourself from the daily grind and kick back with like-minded friends - both old and new.

From what I've heard, the SHO turnout should be at an all-time high too. Better get those hotel reservations in early!

Both my dad and me will be able to go and this time both cars will be there. The 89 will finally makes its first SHOw. And the charlise show is a great one too. Hopefully it wont be so damn hot again.:laugh_ti: low 80's would be nice!!!

how much did you get a room for..they are saying 104 for thurs and 116 for fri-sat?? that's a lot more than last year isn't it?

I will be there working but I am hoping to have the SHO wagon done in time for this event. That is the goal anyway. I should have a lot of leftover parts to sell too. I only live 30 minutes from Carlisle so no hotel needed.

I used our triple AAA card and they quoted me $105.00 a night

and they knew it was a car show weekend........

No more SHO but I'll be caravaning down in the Volvo, hitching a ride into the fairgrounds with a drunk likely.

If there looks to be not enough registrants for the tent...I'll register a phantom SHO just to add to the number.

I am staying in harrisburgh, 69.99 per night.

Only about 10 miles away form where we all usually stay.

I got AAA rate of 107.99/night June 5 for 2 nights and 94.49/night June 7 for 1 night.

Not having to leave the hotel parking lot in a drunken stooper to find my room is worth it.
