Only about 10 miles away form where we all usually stay.

I got AAA rate of 107.99/night June 5 for 2 nights and 94.49/night June 7 for 1 night.

Not having to leave the hotel parking lot in a drunken stooper to find my room is worth it.

a yes the parking lot and drunken stupor the memories.......lol

We're going.
Sounds pretty good (from what I've heard) just have to work on some logistics, dog sitter etc...
I have a few questions tho.
If you register your car do you have to leave it there over night? How do we get back to our hotel if so? What if my bro wanted to register his 08' Mustang, should he use the Lib SHO club and can he park it with ours? My cars are not show worthy but I'd put it out there anyway does that matter?

Basically whats the protocal on this event.

bring lots of beer for the parking lot...................:thumb:

you can leave it over night if you want. we drive in every day from the hotel

I should have 2 car down this year so thats why I'm not signed up yet, we will leave one there for the weekend and just drive the other one.
don't worry about your car being show worthy my 93 blue has the clear coat coming off but it will be there

if you brother is not with any mustang clubs use our liberty club as a a car club it helps us with our tent,( as for parking with us i think he can not sure )

if you both going to have you cars there register them both together you will save some money on the sign up cost for each car

Although as I remember there's a packy that'll sell you all the beer, ice and styro-coolers you could possibly eat within stumbling distance that we pass on our way to and from the showgrounds. Well, OK so maybe it'd be a 1-mile stumble but it's convenient enough!

Sure hope you and Big John can make it Janette. From start to finish, these past two extended weekends there have not only been the only vacations I've taken in some many years, but the most fun-filled lost weekends that I can't hardly remember... :thumb:

We from this area'd most like meet and leave from my place (convenient) again to caravan down en masse. Pick yourself up a simple FRS radio or two to keep abreast of caravan happenings and the rest is one big 'ol party!

My personal goal this year is to actually roam arond the show field and check out the sea of cars.

Haha yeah Kris, I walked around alright - up and down the hill to the outhouse... ;)

Don't laugh, it wasn't too long ago I was motoring around the NESHOC events in a wheelchair!
