SHOCH: We're lucky on the Pacific side of the country - chances of a rusted SHO out here are next to nothing unless it was imported from the east coast. My prior car, a 93 ATX, was imported from Ohio... and started rusting out about 6 months after I bought it. I do feel sorry for the SHO people out east and in the rust belt - finding good cars these days must be difficult.

i only payed 200 for my 91. 141000. but i had to get it running. 3 grand is a little mad. the car is 15 years old. and 256 or whatever thousand miles is not reliable. if this is gonna be your daily driver i might reconsider. cause if your new to the world of the SHO, Shit Happens Often........ let me be the first to warn you. i wouldnt give him more then 1700, and still thats a lot.

For anyone wanting to build a very nice car, it has to be completely rust free. If it's completely rust free, $3000 is not outragous.

Don't get me wrong, you should be able to get it for less, but only driving it will tell you if you are willing to make that investment.

used SHOs need work. So expect to perform 60ks and struts and whatnot...regardless of the milage and the price of the car.

Rust is **** and never sleeps. I would HAPPILY pay $3000 for a completely rust free shell(if I were in the market)...

There will come a time when $3000 will be chump change for a nice, rust free SHO...regardless of milage.
