1993 Black MTX, Going Going..........

I have a 1993 MTX for sale. The car is black with a grey, split-leather interior. This is a one owner car that has spent it's entire life in Sheboygan, WI.

The body has rust in the usual spots. The moonroof control switch is broken. Power radio antennae has been bent. Interior is worn. The original owner was a smoker. The right headlight assembly is missing. I have another headlight that can be installed.

Transmission shifts smoothly. Brakes need to be bled. It appears that the original owner had some brake line repairs made. There is a section of new line running along the top of the firewall behind the plastic shield.

The engine wouldn't start when I picked it up. Some investigation led me to replace the front main oil seal and crank position sensor. Turned the key and it started right up. Engine runs very smoothly and the exhaust does not leak. There are still some engine oil leaks to be dealt with (cam seals?). Oil drips onto the rear cat and produces some smoke.

Asking $500 or make an offer.

I forgot to mention that this car also has a rod shifter. Not sure if it makes a difference. Hey, make an offer. Not a bad price for a running engine, good trans and a rod shifter!

Wish I had 500 dollars plus extra for the drive there and back to pick this up, because I would buy this thing and part out my breaking Green 93 MTX and replace what was needed. Hope this sells soon, seems like a steal. Good luck.
