Im pretty certain there will be no issues installing 1993 ATX hubs and control arms onto a 1991 MTX sho. Am I right in my assumption? The reason being is the 1993 ATX parts car I have has almost brand new suspension parts that have zero play in them.

I believe you should be okay. It's the 94+ that starts the different hub for bigger brakes.

See if someone else shares the same thought. Don't go to work thinking that what I say is right. Believe me, I made that mistake once and I'll never forgive myself. headbang

Im pretty certain they are the same hubs and control arms. My reasoning is that the 94+ hubs mount up to the 89 and up shos no problem so what could be the issue of a 93 on a 91.

I agree that the 93 ATX hubs should be the same as what's on your 91. I'd suggest, though, that if you're going to go to the trouble of changing the knuckles then you might want to consider putting 94-95 knuckles on and then 96 brakes. The vast majority of the pain in that mod is the knuckle change, so you could get a long of bang for the buck if you're changing knuckles anyway.

Just a thot...

Shoaz you are right....I was all set to do just that. But midwestsho stopped selling their complete set for the 96 upgrade. I just need to get this car mint for me to take it to college for now. Bigger brakes are in the works as soon as this semester is out. I have a source for cheap 94+ knuckles....and im talking dirt cheap, but they are at a junkyard near my school. Not close enough to be conveinent now.
