1993 3.2 atx problems

i need help with the problems i am having with my sho. it stalls it starts hard. sometimes not starting at all. i have put a cone k&n filter on the maf when everything seemed to go bad. my codes are 212,327,214

First thing , put back the stock air box to eliminate the MAF getting fuzzed. Cone + SHO = worthless.

Stock air box is getting cold air , while the cone sucks up all the hot engine air.

It's not a MAF issue. No need to do anything with it.

Probably a bad CID sensor causing the drivability faults. AutoZone, ariound 40 or 50 bucks.

Also likely an early DPFE sensor problem, but I'd leave that for later.

I suspect a cam sensor with the symptoms you got and that 212-214 code.

Yah my parents 95 ATX is throwing those 2 right now. Cam sensor is bad.

i ran my codes again about an hour ago. koeo 327. stored codes 212,214,327. koer327,328,521,538. any help would be greatly appreciated. i am trying to understand why it is doing this

93 atx 3.2 with problems

ok all. a reset my computer and then checked the codes koeo 327. stored codes 212,214,327. koer. 327,328,521,538. it will start perfect and run good ten times or more in a row. then i take it for a 5 mile rin and then shut it off. then it acts like a major timing issue trying to get it to start. i have done my 4th cranksensor on it 2 days ago, timing is on the money.i have changed my maf and put back my factory air box today. also ran extra grounds from the cross over pipe and the fender also cleaned all connections on cid. is the cid just gone bad? thanks for all the help. i also wanted to add that the tach acts erratic sometimes working and sometimes not.

My first response answers your question. Does it need further explanation or can you go to AutoZone, buy a Cam postition sensor, and install it without further explanation?

I am having the same problem with my 93 atx. Where is the cam sensor, and is it hard to replace ?
