I have a 1992 SHO with 126,500 miles that I am sad to part with, but I think it needs to go to someone who will have the time to invest into it. The car located outside of Louisville, KY. I got this car from my uncle as my first car and have loved it ever since. But with a young family and a new job involving a long commute I had to get something reliable and no longer have the time to fix it up.
I have done a lot of maintenance work over the years, but the real reason I stopped driving it was a broken head gasket. We believe we fixed the issue but the car has been sitting for probably 7 years. After the initial repair the car sat at my parents place while I finish college/started working full time. I just installed a new battery, new spark plugs, replaced the throttle position sensor and MAF sensor. The car starts, but is still throwing some error codes for throttle position even after replacing the TPS and MAF. The brake line probably needs to be flushed and the tires are flat but I have all 4 original hub caps. The drivers side triangle window was shattered after someone tried to break in. The window has not been replaced by I did tape it up.
I would love to sell this to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have. Its hard to part with a car I have had for a majority of my life but its time to go. I would like to sell the car as a whole even if it will just be used as a parts car. Let me know if you have any questions or interest. I am looking for around $3000.
