1989vs1990 interior

The Dash was different in the 89 as well as the steering wheel. I'm not sure of the center console. Thats about it I think.

The steering wheel, dash, and center console are different. I have also been told the seat bolsters are smaller on the 89's.

I actually like the auto climate control on the 89 better than the later corporate Ford system. It apparently allows more control of the A/C than the later system which switches the A/C on whenever it deems necessary.

89 interior came only in gray; 90 came in black or tan. 90 seats are different; they have different headrests also. Yes the climate controls are different also. I'm not sure about the console design; they look very similar to the 90's. The interior door chime on the 89 has a different lower pitch than the 90-91 IIRC.

Back Seatbelts. IIRC I had trouble with the back ones and had to paint the gray ones.

And I THINK the center light is different.

The early '89 cars also had a chrome strip on the interior door panels. By Feb '89 (I believe) they had switched over to the no chrome panels.

No air bags, no abs, a 50/50 shot of having an aluminum or a brass heater core, what's not to love.

not all 90's have the eatc setup. I have a 90 and 91 in the driveway. does any one else have pin striping.

just wanted to know if the interior was the same....or close.
particularly the back seats which have a **** over driver and passenger area.
but it wasn't meant to be...auction over.
