IMAG0545 LowRes IMAG0546 LowRes
Price: $1000 OBO
Mileage: 141515
Location: San Pedro, California
Condition: Engine, Transmission, interior are all in good shape; Exterior needs paint - passed CA emissions in 2014

I am the original owner of a 1989 SHO and I am finally selling it. It runs fine and the interior is in good shape, but it needs some TLC. Body is in fairly good shape but needs paint. This still has the cable shifter, but I have the parts to convert it to a linkage shifter. I also have the new aftermarket cable ends for the shifter but have not installed. I have the original wheels plus it has aftermarket wheels mounted. Hoping that a SHO enthusiast will want the car to restore or use for parts. This car runs fine and is current on registration, emissions test and tags

Known issues:
AC not working
Power windows and locks do not work
Sun visors are damaged (when I fixed the headliner the upholsterer did a bad job on the sun visors)

I have not had the compression checked so can't provide that info. Transmission is very good. The 89 was always a bit hard to shift to third but that is because of the cable shifter. I have pretty much double clutched to third since I bought it new in February of 1990. I don't have the space or time to part out the car, so I'd rather sell it complete.

I am on the east coast- and am interested in it- based on the ad. can we schedule a time to talk about the car and make proper arrangements? I am not sure if I will have it shipped or if I will drive it back.

SHO Trader

SHO Trader is the place to sell a whole car, running or not. The donation for a Trader section ad is $10. An ad's life-span is 1 year from the original post date however the classified sections are pruned periodically now based on last post dates. If your ad has not been posted in for 3 months it will be considered non-active and it will be pruned. If a post is pruned due to non-activity you will need to donate again to re-list the car so keep your ad current! A bump post by the seller 1 time per 7 days is acceptable, but no more.
