I started this thread to document the water to air intercooler project I am about to undertake as mishimoto just released their new universal water to air intercooler line and I wanted to give this type of system a shot. Perks of a water to air intercooler include less pressure drop than air to air intercoolers and the ability to run an icebox reservoir which allows for ice water to be pumped through the intercooler setup during drag strip sessions, drastically decreasing intake air temps and keeping those temperatures stable and consistent. I will post pictures and updates as the additional components come in and get installed on the car as well as the test data for the intercoolers performance once it’s drivable in my sho.
