One of my headlights is out on my 1990 sho. Only with the regular lights on. When I turn the high beams on it comes on. I'm ASSuming I can just replace the bulb and don't have to replace anything else, correct? Is there anything else I should check before I go pick up a bulb at the hardware store? Also is it worth replace both at the same time? Is replacing the blub pretty straightforward?

Probably just need to replace that 9004 bulb (dual filament). Pull it out and see if one is blown, should be pretty obvious. Gonna scrape your knuckles, but not too hard to get it out. Replace both at the same time is always best to get good & even lighting. One's gone, other one may not be far behind. And if your housings are cloudy, clean them up while you are at it. Stand back & enjoy!

I'd replace both and keep the good used one in the glovebox. Never hurts to have a spare.

Are the high beam and low beam in the same bulb? My high beams work, but low beams don't and the parts store said it only had 1 bulb.

Ah, I see. Makes sense. I didn't want to buy the wrong part and have to return it so I figured I'd double check here. I tend to over think things, lol. You learn something new every day, haha.
