Some of you commented on another post I made about the half mile race I attended last year, and it is coming back this year.
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2017-indy-airstrip-attack-tickets-35878341084?aff=eac2 it was so much fun even if you don't compete (lofty $250 fee) you can spectate for $20 for one day or $30 for both days. I would love to see what the fastest gen 4 sho does in this race, but idk who owns it. There will be tons of Lambos R8 GTR some over 2000 whp. Last year people came from as far as California to this race. Don't miss this once in a lifetime experience. Or every year if you live close:)

The fastest Gen4 SHO to date, would still be me. LOL.

However, I am currently registered to compete in the big DUB Show Event (also hosted by eventbrite oddly enough) in Chicago that EXACT same weekend.

So my attendance is a no go unfortunately.

Hope for any of you that do attend, you have a blast!

SHO them what the SHO can do!

Anyone that is close to your level that may be able to come? I need to get livernois to get me to around your level. I have some extra cash, so let's do this:)

Not sure. I know a few owners are/were attending the Nat'l SHO Convention in MI. this past week.

However, I'll pass along the thread/link and see if peeps are available.

As far as LMS goes, best bet is to reach out to them personally. If you plan on doing a bunch of work, they'll prioritize you over others (doing less) but just know their dyno schedule fills up pretty quickly.

Speaking of LMS, I believe their 2nd CAD (Customer Appreciation Day) of 2017, is the same weekend as the event you've listed here, so you may have a few others already committed to that.

Just FYI.

Bpd1151 - What is your fastest 1/2 mile? I've been through too many of your threads and don't recall you running a 1/2 mile event. I've always wondered what a tune only runs in both the 1/2 and 1 mile.

Never have run a 1/2 mile. Least not competitively timed that is.

119mph in the 1/4 though (& that was on my LOWER of two track files).

Would be both interesting, and fun for sure.

One day they will make a trans/PTU/RDU combo so you can really get that SHO into the 10's..

The Other Woman does 116 mph in the 1/4 mile but I can guarranty that she will only do 124 in the half. That's her top speed.

T550 - T460

Bpd I am looking at the T-550 package, but I already have the T-460 package. Will that get me anywhere close? Also I was wondering with having the new HPFP and being able to use e-85 is there any point in investing in the meth injection, seem like a waste to me?

@Rayme20.....

Not sure what exactly those pkg's are that you are referring too, so as a result, I have no advice for you in regards to that.

As far as the pairing of the newly released, upgraded HPFP, in conjunction with E85, or any percentage therein, not sure on that either.

I did post a bunch of questions related to that directly to LMS, & to date, I still have yet to receive a response.

I figured that perhaps the front counter sales staff over there may have not had the answers to my questions, & had to ask Andy or Dan.

If I don't hear something soon, I may be compelled to text Dan myself and get some sort of reply. Been a while since him and I have chatted anyhow.

Well, the extra "umph" versus your current pkg, entails the upgraded turbos, which is where the majority of that added power is deriving from.

I am aware their hourly labor rates seem steep, but are comparative to other performance shops.

I'd definitely lean towards pkg 2 if it were me, but inquiring which upgraded turbos they're currently going with, would be wise.

I know initially they had been using Tial Motorsports, but I was able to convince them that the ATP's were the way to go.

Verify they're still using them. If you have a local installer, you may want to ask what the pkg price is, sans their labor. But remember, they are the creme de la creme, as well as having the ability to dyno everything right there following install, so that speaks volumes as well.

Good luck in w/e path you may choose.
