Well its close enough to plan this out. So here it is off the cuff.

This is for those that want to caravan out there early with us.

Sat 7/14/07 Leave Spencer Ma at 4:30am PROMPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Albany by 6am
Rest stop break 15 mins
Rochester NY 9:30am
Buffalo Ny 10:45
Ohio Boarder 1pm ish
Lunch At Seths house (east of Cleveland) Imac and Cheese is on the Menu
Back on the road by 2pm
Indiana Boarder by 4pm
Arriving at the Hotel By 6pm in Michagan.

Barring no incidents of course.

From Boston Mass to the I69 interchange in Indiana will be travling I-90 West, I90- does become 80-90 in ohio and then becomes the Indiana Toll Road. These are Toll ways and you will need to pay your tolls.

Reasoning for the early departure is to have Dinner with the Mallinsons on Sunday which has become a growing tradition. If we leave Sunday we would never make it.

If you would like to join the caravan and not starting in Spencer Mass with us please EMAIL me your Number and where you live so I can call you when we are getting close. My email is [email protected] and My phone is 508-963-5899.

Thanks and hope to see you all there!

Once again, it looks like it will just be Kirk, James, and I caravanning to the convention. We'll be meeting Ian in Syracuse and anyone else along the way.

I'm not sure if Tim J. will be joining us or not, he was up to the shop last week but I didn't see him although he did tell Kirk he would be going to the convention.

Anyone else?

As I've said before, there's room in my car for anyone who wants to go but can't bring their car or money is tight. Just chip in for gas.

Well, at least we can keep our speeds up without all the anchoring effect of all the backpedalers who insist they're going in December...

Indeed on both counts.

I'm really looking forward to it, and it looks like there's going to be quite a turnout.

James, if you want I can head over to B'rica around 330AM and meet up with you to head out to Spencer.

Yep, I registered the other week and we were up to #86. And I imagine there's quite a few Michigan area guys who'll register there.

3:30 eh? Sure.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about the 4:30AM departure myself, but I don't really have much say in the matter, so...

I still have your number in my cell, so I'll give you a shout next Thurs. to make the plan.

I'll meet you guys at the first rest stop past I-81. I think it's called the Gomer Pyle Plaza or something like that. I figure you guys should make it there about 8:00. I think I made it to I-81 in about 3.5 hours at 75-80 mph. I don't imagine you guys will be going much faster.

Well, we all made it safely home early last night, sans James who stayed behind for some additional track time at Putnam Park in Indy. I would say that the trip home was uneventful but that would be a lie. We were also joined by a mystery guest on Thursday at the drags (who almost gave me a massive myocardial infarction when I saw them) who stayed Thursday and Friday night and joined the caravan home on Saturday.

A spectacular time was had by all. Those of you who didn't make it, well, you can't imagine what you missed! :bonk:
