Bogging anyone?
Well the SHO isn't mines, its my friends. Since i have a gen 2 and don't know much about the SHO in the first place i figured i'd come to you guys for advice. I've been on/off this forum everyonce in a while and have gotten a lot of tips and helpful hints about my car. Well the car is a V8 SHO...- bruce988jl

Pulled the codes...

cleaning up headlights
well if it's minor yellowing you can take rubbing compound and a buffer and go at it for a bit. I tried it by hand because i don't have a buffer.. not suggested, my arm died.- bruce988jl

Pulled the codes...
Alright i'm new to SHO's and just ran the CEL code test today and these are the codes that i pulled. NOTE: both tests, the car ran a "system OK" the following codes are the ones that were stored... 157 (R,M) Mass Air Flow signal is/was low or grounded – MAF 172 (R,M) Oxygen sensor not...- bruce988jl

New coil?
well i pulled the spark plugs out of the car and checked them and then noticed that the car was running on 5 of 6 cylinders. I'm positive it's running on 5 of 6 too. the plug wires are all working, but the coil is less than a year old.. any suggestions or do i have to go and buy a new one? And...- bruce988jl

Running rough, computer tested.
alright so as some of you may know my SHO has been running really bad. It dies sometimes randomly, and the idle is at 400 rpms all the time and it sounds like a heavy smoker trying to run a mile when accelerating. I hooked it up to a computer and drove around while the mechanic looked for codes...- bruce988jl

OIL LEAKS !!! I hate when it does that..
yea i have the same problem with my car, it leaks when i get on her hard. But the oil seems to be coming out near the passengerside firewall part of the engine, onto the device holding the biggest pulley in the upper lefthand side of the engine compartment (when facing it)... I'm bad with engine...- bruce988jl

Help. Replaced cam sensor. didn't help.
just wondering but how much psi should the fuel rails have? And do i check it while the engine is on or off? I'm having the same problems, i bought the Camshaft position sensor and a crankshaft, but i want to make sure what the cause is directly first... If it's the fuel pump then i don't want...- bruce988jl

Problem with Rim painting...
wait... lol so i screwed up again? lol but wait what meet tomorrow?? Anyone know how badly i screwed up... i hate this autozone told me this was the stuff too. They didn't have any "wheel paint" or anything labeled like that- bruce988jl

alright, so i'm new the modding the SHO. My dad has had one forever, it was my first car, and i just used it to get from point A to B (quickly too). But yea i decided to paint my rims. Cam Position Sensor
i ordered a sensor from Boston Clutch. Motorcraft brand, not sure how much it cost because my dad ordered it. I'll fill you guys in when it comes, i also won a 94 auto Computer off of ebay, so i'm just gonna make a day and check off all my "to-do's" for the car...- bruce988jl

Cam Position Sensor
Anyone on here know the part # for a cam position sensor? I called up Watertown Ford (in watertown, MA) and the guy didn't have a clue where to look for the part # for it... I'm still on the phone with him as i type too. Also anyone know how much those things run for on average so i can have...- bruce988jl
