Just returned from a 7k mile road trip...

Speaking of a tune...I've been holding off doing anything to my bone stock non-PP till GH had their Performance Intercooler back in stock (I am on the email list) so I could just do everything in visit to the shop. But should I just go ahead and do the plugs/3-Bar/Tune now instead of waiting...

Just returned from a 7k mile road trip...

As the title says I've just gotten home from a nice long road trip, and I have to say that the car did very well. I left shortly before Christmas to drive from MD down to FL to spend the holidays with family. After the New Year I then started West for San Diego (hadn't seen that city during my...

    Trunk access

I even did a search for "trunk" before asking the question just in case someone else had asked. Didn't see anything.

    Trunk access

Well how about that. Had to go downstairs and try. Never even thought to check that down low. Thanks.

    Trunk access

I think I've found the one gripe I have about this car...accessing the trunk. Why don't we have a button/latch on the car to open it? I hate having to dig in my pocket with full hands to open it. Has anyone tried installing one of those systems where you can just wiggle your foot under the...

    Window operation

Ah. Good to know it wasn't just some fluke in the wiring.

    Window operation

So last week I did a quick road trip to FL to visit family. The following morning I go out to take my brother for a spin and we find that both front windows (and the sunroof) have fully opened during the night. Anyone have that happen before?

    Two quick questions

Thanks, I've contacted a local Curt dealer to see about installation.

    Two quick questions

#1. Has anyone ever done any light towing with their SHO? I'm talking like a utility trailer with a motorcycle or one of the smaller U-Haul trailers. I've read the official literature that pretty much bans any thought of towing, but figured I'd ask for personal experience. #2. Anyone in the MD...

    Dash cam recommendations

I went with the Rove R2-4K...it came with just the cigarette lighter cord (which I routed under the headliner and under the A-pillar plastic) so it still shows, but I did order the hard-wire kit. I'll be installing that soon, since I too hate having wires showing.

    Initial thoughts...

I guess I could see playing with it more, but it's my only car (I do have a motorcycle, but in MD it isn't riding weather all year round) and living in a historic downtown area with only street parking I can't imagine owning multiple cars and having to keep moving them both for street sweeping...

    Initial thoughts...

So I picked up my 2019 SHO (non-PP) on the 4th of this month, and I just returned from a quick shake-down road trip of about 3k miles. Everything works. No rattles. Very comfortable, though I wouldn't mind a slightly longer seat cushion to take pressure of the thighs during long drives. Overall...

Opened my sunroof for the first time in a couple of months.

I wish mine had the rear sun-shade. I wouldn't necessarily drive with it up, but while parked and in the sun? Heck yeah, keep the interior cool. But I agree with typical moonroofs, I don't use them. However, I did recently rent a Caddie with that full pano-glass ceiling? That thing was cool, and...

    Needed a new DD

Picked up the car today and I'm very happy so far. One of the first vehicles I've ever been in where I don't have to put the seat all the way back in order to fit my legs. I can actually scoot a little forward. Now to learn all the ins and outs.

    Livernois Performance Packages

As I pointed out in a different thread, I'm pretty new to the SHO and just happened to see their name mentioned from other sources. I'll keep my eyes peeled for other options. Thanks for the recommendations.

just a heads up...livernois tune will fail emissions in MO

I'm pretty new to both the forum and the SHO, and on other media I have seen their name tossed around, and when I saw what all they offered for the SHO I was intrigued. I'll keep an eye out for better companies.

    Livernois Performance Packages

I didn't notice this particular question after doing a quick search. For anyone that has had any of the packages installed by Livernois, how long was your car in their care? Just curious as to the downtime I'd have to schedule for.

just a heads up...livernois tune will fail emissions in MO

Well that's good to know since I just moved back to MD and have been considering having Livernois do some work on my car.

    Needed a new DD

Yeah, it looks to be pretty well kitted out, but no PP. Which is fine since from everything I've read even the non-PP versions are plenty of fun. Maybe after some time has passed I'll contact Livernois about some go-fast goodies.

    Needed a new DD

So last week my previous DD (2005 Jeep GC) was rear-ended and the insurance company decided it was totaled, and the search for a new DD began. I found a clean looking 2019 SHO through Carmax and it is currently enroute to me at this time. I look forward to picking it up.
