    Did you swap in a good battery? You could have a bad cell in the battery. A bad cell can show normal voltage when setting, but when you try to start the car the voltage will drop way down. They can also cause the car to start normally sometimes andnot start at other times. A bad/weak...

    white smoke exiting the exhaust

    The oil level is at full and not overfull right. With new oil it is sometimes hard to tell. If you overfill it to much it will within a few miles blow out a solid billowing cloud of white smoke with a blue hue to it.

    ECT causing no start A failing coolant temp. sensor will cause a no start situation. Most of the time the it will read something wil -10 degrees or some way off number. If this is the case it causes the engine to flood and most likely you could smell the gas, If you can't smell it outright...

    Keypad You do have to remove the door panel to get to the keypad. There should be to bolts on the backside of the keypad.

    Bad creaking from the front left

    Just have someone push down on the fender and "bounce" the car while you get down on the ground and find the noise. You should be able to touch the suspension and feel the joint that is making the noise. Just don't get your hand stuck or worse...

    why does the a/c engage with heat?

    If you search the forum you can test the compressor clutch for wear. As the car gets older the clutch material wears away and creates to much of an air gap. If you're just curious, turn on the a/c and wait for the compressor to stop. then with a long screwdriver (some people say a broom stick)...

    I agree, sounds like a weak pump or a clogged filter. I think you can rent a fuel pressure guage from autozone or other parts places these days.

    smoke in the SHO

    Check the power steering pump also. My power steering pump is leaking on my 95 and it drips directly on the exhust. I had to clean the lower engine area and let the engine run to find it.
