So I got a 2011 Taurus sho around 3 months ago. Never knew about the cars until a week before I bought it. Fell in love with it honestly. Not the cleanest, but I got a 3 bar, colder plugs, and gearhead tune as of now. But I was driving yesterday, and as I took a right turn and started coasting up a hill, boom, high pitched whine as I’m back on the gas. Me and my buddy gave eachother a horrified look. I put it in park, it still did it, we thought maybe turbo or water pumps of doom, but there was no smoke, just a turbocharger A underboost code. No CEL. Doctored it home and it wasn’t making nearly the power it should. Maybe 1/3. We thought it came from the driver side, but listening from underneath it Sounds like it’s from the passenger side/ pulley area. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a boost leak. Could be from any number of sources in the plumbing. From your description, I'd check the intercooler-to-intake connection, but it could be anywhere, even from the brake vacuum hose. Also look for tears in the blow-off valve seals. A smoke machine might help you find it.
