1992 3.0 MTX intake PC prep

I purchased a 1992 MTX 3.0, I want to clean up and powder coat, Valve Covers and intake.
Talking to Mike at ShoSource about intake kit.
Anyone have any do's and don't to get them ready, media blasting? Hand sanding to clean up prior to powder coating.

Really depends on how far you want to take it. Basic pop the hood and see some color? Nothing else is needed then. Clean them up and powder coat. Pop the hood and put on a SHOw? Lots of prep needed. I would at the very least smooth down the runners and get rid of the casting lines. Want to go further? Trim off all of the hard edges for a sleek flowing look. I personally have done this to the extreme and will never do it again. I had a vision that I was going for and I accomplished it.
