Code 212

A '93 ATX keeps storing code 212. Supposed to be the SPOUT. No other codes. No CE light. I've cleaned the SPOUT connectors with electronic cleaner, what else can I do? What should I be checking? Runs OK except for some preignition under load.

Broken Brakes

Sounds like you suspect a small leak. Why would it happen only sometimes? (always wen moving, never at a stop so far)

My '93 ATX got my attention this AM when the brake pedal went straight to the floor. Certainly needed no coffee after that! It has done it a few more times today, but is not predictable. I've got to figure it is either something very simple or very expensive. anyone got an idea? Does it in...

spark plug wires?

Nothing hard about it. Just do one wire at a time so as not to get confused by the bad diagram in Chilton. I took the intake off just for drill and the wires were just that much easier to do. It can be done the other way but like most shortcuts I've taken it takes longer.

O2 sensors switching

My friend ran the codes when the CE light started shining intermintently. He says my one bank is lean and the other is rich and they are not switching. Anyone know what "switching" is?
