    Recently my car would not start in the park position. I read the owners manual and it said there is a lock, and I followed instructions to start in this situation. For a while it went back and forth, sometimes it would start in Park and sometimes not. Problem is, now it's always that way...

    I feel a bit out of my league here, since I don't do the work on my car. But I am fortunate to have a 20-year old son who is a BMW enthusiast, and he does some of the stuff for me. Now I need to find a mechanic who can do some of the bigger stuff, who really knows this engine. ANy suggestions?

    brake lights problem

    Have just reallized all my brakelights are out. Checked the bulbs, fuses, and the brake switch. Is there a typical weakeness in the wiring on these SHO's? ( Mine is 93 ATX). Thanks

    I just found out that all my brake lights are out. Checked bulbs and fuses, but no luck. Is there a typical place where the wiring is weak? Has this happened to anyone else? How did you locate the problem?

    Mt 93 ATX was running high tonight. I checked the coolant, but it had not been circulating. Does this indicate a thermostat problem? Is the thermostat easy to replace?
