How do y'all!. I have a 2015 non PP SHO with just under 119,000 miles on it I have been running a livernois 93 octane tune since I bought the car at 26,000 mi. No issues.
Over the past 4 months or so I have developed a turbosurge after the car has been running for about 45 minutes to an hour...
Howdy all. My 2015 no pp has 115k on it and is still going strong. I think I'll get at least a few more years out of her. The suspension has started to creak a little and feels a little loose when I get aggressive in the corners. Looks like the cost of the parts to replace basically...
Mine was doing the same thing off and on for a few years. There is some Internet buzz regarding the wiring harness to the sensor. After replacing the sensor a few times, Ford finally replaced the harness (as the sensor was still under warranty) and boom shakalaka, problem solved.
I just don't get all the LMS hate. I bought my 2015 in 2017 with 25k miles on it. Tuned it immediately with the LMS 93 octane, a few years later went to their spark plugs and thermo. I'm now at 103k with no issues other than the normal replacement of the timing chain aournd 80k and that dang...
I had to get some work on my 2015's exhaust (flex pipes were rusted away, she will turn 100k tomorrow..). I had him delete the rear exhaust while he had it in the air, re-using the stock tips. Sounds awesome, but yes the drone is a real bummer around 2300RPM. I am going to have 2x J Pipes but...
I have a 2015 non PP with the base sound system; turns out that the 'brain' of the standard is almost the same as the Sony system. Using Forscan; you can change the outputs of the receiver from amp channels to line level. I then fed those channels into a JBL DSP4086; I also added rear deck...
My 2015 was up for inspection so I needed to address the P016 code that has been lingering for a few years. The tech was able to confirm the faulty connector issue that has been talked about on various sites. That was the thing that was triggering the code for me. They also replaced the VVT...
Most likely the timing chain; it happens to everyone here. You got a bit more miles on it before it happened, but it's time. Chain and water pump, it won't be cheap but it's required. I had mine done around 65k miles, was about $3k at my local Ford dealer.
Hmmm. One started doing this in the 90s but I had the timing chain and water pump replaced around 75k. Any thoughts? I need another 30k miles out of my red rocket ship! I've seen postings about a bad wiring harness? No loss of power or reduced mpg. She's been great but it'll be hard to...
My codes per caused by the timing belt being stretched all the way out; that might be your issues, especially on a 2010. It's a super expensive service point but it fixed EVERYTHING that was silly with my 2015.
I would say to replace the timing chain at the same time; my 2015 had stretched to the point of timing issues by 68k miles in 2021. This isn't an easy thing on the Gen 4, I bit the bullet and had the dealership do it, about 3k if I remember correctly.
My vote is an issue with the pump, I had my timing chain replaced last year (2015 with 70k at the time). Tech said it had stretched way past the ability to tension.
I've had mine for a few months; I asked the Ford dealership to put them on when I had it in for inspection (best 50 bucks I ever spent since I don't have a lift). They are starting to loosen up a bit but there is still a noticeable vibration which I really don't mind. It actually makes it...
