The pid: Tc slip dsd when it reads 1020 is a default "off" number. This is what the pcm wants. Tc-slip-act is the difference between engine rpm and turbine shaft speed.
When tc-slip-dsd reads something other than 1020 you want to see a tc-slip-act within 10-15 rpm within a few seconds.
I was changing the oil in the ptu and noticed my rear turbo's c-clip was M.I.A. I couldn't find a post on its size doing a few searches.
I got a 5mm e-clip to fit. I dont know for sure if this is the corect size.
I bought stainless steel assortment from the deep Amazon's.
Hope everyone is...
When the water pump is replaced, the intake is removed. The intake has coolant passages in it for the t-stat and heater hoses. Look in your engine valley for coolant. It may be hard. Lots of junk in there
Some libraries have acess to All data or mitchel on demand (aftermarket automotive repair manuals) or you can go directly to Helm who publishes the manuals for ford. The newer the car you can but CDs. Older cars have books.
You can buy the ford workshop manual from helm.
Looks like they no longer off the 2010, but do have a paper 2011:

This is as good as a place to put this i guess.
If your replacing a front or rear wheel bearing, cut off 2 lug studs and pound them out. Get two 1/2 inch bolts that are full thread (higher grade prefered) and use the bolt to press out the wheel bearing from two spots on the kuckle like below...
If you haven't done so give Ford customer service a call (1800-392-3673 from google) there may be a process that they can follow to help you or your dealership get your part, maybe, a little faster.
That still makes sense because there is a larger check valves that holds vacuum in the booster and it also stops boost from reaching the booster. Speaking in general, if you turnnoff the car and press the brake pedal you usually have 1-2 presses before the brakes go hard. When you stall the...
The only exception is a ford performance tune. Boss mustang had a red key. That was oem supported I think? But I'm not sure if "ALL" dealerships will do that. And the SHO doesn't have a ford performance tune.
Then the next step would be a Roush tune, but then warranty is a different subject all...
Ah! Now I understand better. Thank you for the image.
You still have the main check valves back behind to prevent boost from going into the booster, but you have eliminated the ability of the system to create vacuum under boost or the possibility of the hissing noise!
I kinda just thought...
Ha! Somewhat/kinda?
My car hisses too. Some days its louder than others. Its been so long I can't tell you if mine didn't hiss.
I wish I could tell you if it is supposed to his or not. I was hoping GotGrip would respond for sure.
my option is that it shouldn't hiss if working CORRECTLY, but...
