RATA, I feel the same thing. I can feel it/ hear it coming on at above 40 now that I am paying more attention to it. A New PTU at close to 100k might be tough to swallow. Let me know how you end up.
Any issues with pulling the driveshaft and driving the car to check if thats the problem?
I had that thought in my mind as well. What about rear wheel bearings? I did get an alignment with the tires so I would think a bad bearing would be found then but who knows in this day and age.
Driveshaft is a one piece design correct? Need to replace the entire assembly?
So I am getting close to 100K on my 2010PP and I am having a steady vibration above 60MPH. I just replaced the tires and it is still there (new set with different tread). It does not appear to be the familiar wheel bearing sound as the tone does not change based on steering wheel angle. It also...
wow 40 for a filter. Like I said its not a deal breaker for me. if the seats were full leather these cold mornings might force me to look into it more but for now i am ok with just the wife having a warm seat.
Yeah I saw your other post. Did it work after you put it all back together? I truly think this is a short or plug issue as mine works randomly. is it 150 for the new motor assembly or the wiring?
Pass. side works all the time, just the driver giving me issues.
SHOdded, I cannot say I have noticed a ride issue. Rear still appear to be fine. My concern is clearly on the front with the oil leaking passenger strut.
I have seen some small discussion on struts but was wondering where/what the options are? I have a 10 PP (70k) w/ a passenger strut that is accumulating dirt. the driver is clean so I am thinking there is a leak. no drips and no other sources around there.
Thought son a set of Monroe struts...
Honestly I have left it be. It comes and goes and for most of the past summer it worked. I think there is a loose connection or frayed wired somewhere. Its not a deal breaker for me and I had a similar issue with an Aviator that cost me a small fortune to diagnose and fix.
If you find anything...
Looks like I will need a new rear caliper. Had a poor pedal for a bit now and took it apart when I noticed some excessive heat off the rear passenger side. Pads were sticking a little, the dust boot is torn and the piston was not lined up with the pad stub. Anyone have an opinion on getting a...
