After our AZSHOC meet, Some of the guys and I went out to speedworld to run our stuff. Tom was fast as **** in The Other Woman running 12.1@116(IIRC) while handing me my heavy, FWD ass. My best ET was 12.94@108 and my best MPH was [email protected]. While I didn't run as fast as I wanted to, I'm glad I finally have a 12 second slip(barely). The Track was ideal but my driving was not. I had to let out a bit in second because my car was torque steering into the other lane. I also seem to have a boost leak when I spike to about 11 psi as my car fell on it's face every time I shifted into 4th. Needless to say, I think my car has a bit more in it.

Also, as a little bonus, on the way to the track from Mexico, I put about 1 car on a GT500 from 65-110ish:omgsho:

Next outing I plan to install some more traction and have my boost leak fixed. By then it will be real nice and cool and I hope to run 12.60s:salute:.

Awesome. The car definalty has more in it. What were your 60's? Is this on the 7-8psi tune?

Just out of curisoity what do you plan on doing for traction. Spring blocks would help. IIRC you have the CM stage 1 so in my expirence stay away from full slicks. The clutch can't take it and I was N/A. Maybe some Drag radials since they are not as soft and will still spin

It was funny as **** watching him trying to fight that torque steer. It was like the car was possessed by wiggle demons or something. At first I thought you were trying to draft The Other Woman down the track.

BTW, she did a 12.163 @ 116.602 MPH with a .967 reaction time and a 1.896 60'. I told you I couldn't drive.

Thanks guys. My 60' was 2.08 and 1/8th was 8.43 on my 12.94 run.

This was on the 8 psi tune with about 9-10 psi and a splash of 108 in the tank.

Nitto 555 street tires at about 32 psi. They have about 60% tread now but where a lot stickier new. The CM1 released quickly at about 3700 RPM.

Awsome. I appreciate your setup. Nice clean install, and seems like its tuned well. Good job.

SWEET DUDE! Any vids? Sounds like some crazy torque steer haha. Doesn't sound like traction is your problem with a 2.08! jeez...

I'd attribute that to the track prep mostly. It was very sticky out of the hole but I was still spinning first right into second. I think dropping that 60' is my key to running mid 12s. I ran a 13.0 @ 110 last time and another 13.0 @ 114 this time lol. If I could utilize all of first and second, I think I could go 1.8-1.9 or so.

congratulations! post that time slip you now have the number 2 spot. You beat SHONUT!

I think you can definately get that 60' in the 1.8's That was my goal for this year but I didn't get the chance. How much longer do you have left in your racing season where you live?

Very nice and a GREAT 60'! That's about the key... Get that down and you really can't mess up the rest (maybe break an axle :)).

You're doing all that on a CM1??? Wow... On my stock motor and 10psi, I smoked a CM1 in second gear (think I got it on video too). The clutch had about 8k miles on it at the time.

I'd stick a better clutch in, shim the transmission, put in a Quaife and get some stronger axles... You'll need it as you WILL eventually find all that as the weak point, moreso than the stock pistons.

Again, GREAT job!
