Snapped another axle shifting into 3rd while racing my brother in law's Honda 600cc crotch rocket.

Did a 40 drop. At the end of 2nd I was a car ahead. GRRRRR would have kick his butt too!

Fixed and ready to race again.

I'd rather change the CV shaft than nuke 3rd gear in the trans.

P.S. Any of you Texas guy's going to the Running of the Bulls???

unfortunately not that I know of.

Freaksho is working out some bugs.

Tony is putting the finishing touches on El Toro.

I'm staying home saving money for adopting a child.

Probably next big event for us is the 24hr of Lemons in Oct then the Texas Mile.

I was going to say the same thing. Much better you snapped the output shaft than the, er, input shaft.

I'd much rather bust an axle than anything else in the trans.
I busted my clutch disk shifting into 3rd, and I would have much rather busted an axle. Takes about 30 minutes to replace, and less if you are an expert.

What sort of rubber are you running? Looks like Eagle GS-D3?
