With the information on this awesome forum, I diagnosed the loss of power and engine knock on my 91 plus to a loose crank bolt. So a tight crank bolt, an upper 60k, and some new plugs and it was ready to go. The only problem is the slicers wouldnt hold air anymore. So I pulled the rims from my 93 out of the shed, since I have new wheels for it. A big thanks to James(st louis sho)and Steve(sinister) for the tires. And thanks again Steve for letting me borrow your rims untill I got mine painted. And thank you Mike(matasho) for your Jedi like painting skills. First off its the slicers.

And now, heres as it sits today. The wheels are rsl valkyries i have had for a few years. They were white, as seen in my sig. I really liked these wheels on my gen 2, But they just look awesome imo on the gen 1. The color is dark shadow grey base clear, from the 2005 ford ppg catalog. I just wish I had a nicer gen 1 to put them on.

At least the hood is mostly rust free.

:thumb:

Yeah, its a good thing fiberglass doesn't rust. Yes the car is ugly as sin, but the po did a recent clutch and timing belt. I did the 60k with stuff laying around tthe garage, and its got the best shifting trans in a sho I've ever driven. Its stilla blast to drive. It just makes me want to get the jack stand queen in the garage done that much more. Thanks for the comment everyone.
