I really didn't notice that before, I've always just concentrated on the shape of the TQ curve. Hmm, that is kinda high for only 7 psi of boost, must a combination of the efficiency of the T-Trim at that RPM, cams, and head flow. Of course, I'm making more boost/flow at those RPMs than most with a centrifugal blower, so it is hard to compare.
To answer a question that was posted over at youtube (I've got to get an account): I didn't put up that information. My SHO is an '89. I have no idea where he (the dyno operator) got his facts. I think he either posted my first run information or posted dyno info from year's past that I had on a disk for comparison.
fixed it for you
:laugh_ti:Insert the "Milk Shake" song.........My Gen I is better than yours.......damn right it better than yours........:laugh_ti:
Ransom, send me the video Im making a video section.
Still using zip ties though?
I just sent this link to a (chebby nova guy) friend of mine who swears up and down that there is no way a SHO engine will produce 500CHP. I hope he cries a little.
Sweet run!![]()
He's a Chevy guy- he'll say "well yeah, it's close- it's still not 500..."
Awesome numbers!!![]()
There is a dyno run of El Toro putting down 638 WHP! That's 750 HP at the crank!
