Just got the headers Jet-Hot coated and installed. I won't be able to get the cold side polished and powder coated until after the convention.

LOL that "side" pipe makes me think of monster garage's Diesel chopper , with the exhaust going into people's cars

That's going to haul ass.

Great job :thumb:

that setup makes me wonder if it would fit in the SHO. With a bit of modding of course..

Looks nice Tom.. but I still see some un-polished parts.. the oil cap of all things!!! C'mon Tom, get with the program.....

I know an oil cap for a honda civic will work. They sell them at advance auto in blue and chrome. Ask me how I know :naughty:

The headers and crossover, along with the cold side piping was done by Rich Huizinga at Tatum Motor Sports. It's totally a custom job, making sure that it fits around all the other crap I have hanging on her and so it will be removable.

I'm hoping it will not be as loud as the Roots was with mufflers; now that was loud. The turbo will absorb a lot of exhaust banging, but alas, it can't do anything about the intake sound.

I have an oil fill extender that will be installed soon, maybe I can polish that.

I just hope I can get her back together and tuned before the convention.

Water pump housing my butt! That doesn't even SHOw guys.

No, mine is more home designed, thought up in dream episodes, scratch your head kind of creation. She should really fly though, I'm aiming for 350 hp and 400 pound*feet of torque. Might be able to break into the 11's with her.

i didnt mean the actual housing but the tube that goes to the lower radiator hose. it would be easy to polish, i know polishing isnt easy but easier than most things you have polished.

If I could get that piece off of the motor without having to take a lot of it apart, I would polish the down tube, but alas, the socket head screws are stripped.
