Rack up the following for casualties of this weekend:

-Matt (young kid with the sweet black V8) puked his trans on the way home. We offloaded his companions and gear and continued on, Kirk went to get the car today, and towed it to the trans shop for repair.

-Me: About 75 miles after Matt dropped the trans, I graciously allowed a piston rod to meet its maker. In other words, I think I hammered an old engine too hard over the weekend and spun a rod bearing, and possibly broke a connecting rod. Kirk went back last night and towed the car to NESHO for me. (now THAT people, is a true friend!) I procured a 3.2 from Randy's 94 ATX winter beater and will be building it this week with the help of Kirk and Chris, and hopefully have the car running again early next week. Chris has lent me his dad's Sable wagon until the SHO is done. Gotta love having friends like this! Not to mention, I am even hotter in a wagon than I am in an SHO. Can't keep the babes off me.

Well, the good thing about these events is that we were all together and figured out a way for everyone to get home, and get their cars back.

I was wanting to do a 3.2 swap anyway, albeit not under these circumstances, but what are ya gonna do?

And you have to make it out next year. Plan now, no baby showers!

Well, it'll look the same, although the tail lights will be a little further away from you in the future.

Since I have to wait for some parts, and my budget to recover a bit, while the engine is out I'm going to detail the engine bay a little more and try to get the AC going. It was damn hot on the drive out there!
